In-laws were in a pretty serious bike crash involving a deer this weekend. They were air-lifted to Provo. They/we are from Canada. Might have to head that way - fly to SLC and make our way to Provo. Long drive?

It's about 45 minutes to provo from slc. Not too bad, especially if you can avoid rush hour.

How's the med center in Provo? Any idea? Surgeon we talked to seemed pretty good but hard to tell over the phone in the midst of chaos...

is a nationally ranked hospital and level 3 trauma center. i know it's only mild comfort, but they are very good there. i hope all goes well

Crazy part? Wasn't aware there was one.

When I moved out there to ski bum for a winter I was asking people if there was anywhere I needed to avoid. They all said West Valley City. Then I told them I grew up near Detroit and they said never mind.
